In het kort
- Je gegevens zijn van jou. We verkopen ze niet en we tonen geen advertenties.
- We gebruiken één cookie: om je ingelogd te houden. Geen tracking, geen analysecookies.
- Je kan alles exporteren en je account op elk moment zelf verwijderen in de app.

Met wie we samenwerken
- Vercel (hosting van de app en de servers, functies in Frankfurt).
- Upstash (database, in Frankfurt): je planning en account.
- Resend (mails): alleen bevestigings- en herstelmails.
- Anthropic (Claude): alleen als je de spraakassistent gebruikt. De uitgeschreven tekst van wat je zegt en een samenvatting van je planning gaan erheen om je te antwoorden. Geen audio.
- Microsoft (Outlook): alleen als je je Outlook koppelt, om bezette tijden te lezen en SyMslots te zetten.
- Google Fonts en jsDelivr: lettertypes en iconen worden van hun servers geladen; zij zien daarbij je IP-adres.
Sommige van deze partners zitten in de Verenigde Staten. Daarvoor gelden de standaardcontractbepalingen van de Europese Commissie of het EU-VS-gegevensprivacykader.
Hoe lang we bewaren
- Je account en planning: tot je ze verwijdert.
- Back-ups: maximaal 30 dagen, daarna automatisch weg.
- Bezette tijden uit je agenda: 5 minuten in een tussengeheugen.
- Herstellinks: 1 uur. Bevestigingslinks: 7 dagen.
Je rechten
Je mag je gegevens inzien, verbeteren, meenemen (export naar Excel in de app) en laten wissen (in de app: Instellingen, Je account, Account verwijderen). Je mag ook bezwaar maken. Ben je niet tevreden over hoe we met je gegevens omgaan, dan kan je klacht indienen bij de Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
Je account verwijderen
Je kan je account en al je gegevens zelf verwijderen, ook zonder de app op je telefoon. Ga naar sortyourmind.com/app, log in en kies Instellingen, Je account, Account verwijderen. Bevestig met je wachtwoord. Je planning, foto's, agenda-koppeling en back-ups worden dan meteen gewist. Lukt dat niet, mail dan naar hallo@sortyourmind.com vanaf het e-mailadres van je account; we wissen alles binnen 30 dagen. Een lopend abonnement via de App Store of Google Play zeg je daar zelf op.
Leeftijd
SortYourMind is bedoeld voor wie 16 jaar of ouder is.
Wijzigingen
Passen we dit beleid aan, dan zie je de datum bovenaan veranderen. Bij belangrijke wijzigingen laten we het je in de app weten.

- We use one cookie: to keep you logged in. No tracking, no analytics cookies.
- You can export everything and delete your account yourself in the app at any time.

Who we work with
- Vercel (hosting of the app and servers, functions in Frankfurt).
- Upstash (database, in Frankfurt): your plan and account.
- Resend (email): only confirmation and reset emails.
- Anthropic (Claude): only if you use the voice assistant. The transcribed text of what you say and a summary of your plan are sent to answer you. No audio.
- Microsoft (Outlook): only if you connect Outlook, to read busy times and place SyMslots.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr: fonts and icons load from their servers, which see your IP address.
Some of these partners are based in the United States. The European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework apply.
How long we keep data
- Your account and plan: until you delete them.
- Backups: up to 30 days, then removed automatically.
- Busy times from your calendar: 5 minutes in a cache.
- Reset links: 1 hour. Confirmation links: 7 days.
Your rights
You may access, correct, take along (Excel export in the app) and erase your data (in the app: Settings, Your account, Delete account). You may also object. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all your data yourself, also without the app on your phone. Go to sortyourmind.com/app, log in and choose Settings, Your account, Delete account. Confirm with your password. Your plan, photos, calendar connection and backups are erased right away. If that does not work, email hallo@sortyourmind.com from your account address; we erase everything within 30 days. A running subscription through the App Store or Google Play is cancelled there.
Age
SortYourMind is meant for people aged 16 or older.
Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top changes. For important changes we let you know in the app.
